Lady in the Lake by Laura Lipman is the “summer read” for discussion on June 23rd. The novel is a mystery involving two women of different backgrounds, one white and Jewish and the other black and dead. It was inspired by an unsolved murder in Baltimore in 1969.
At our May Book Club meeting, we will choose the selections for the rest of the summer and early fall.
Our Book Club meets the fourth Wednesday of each month. All are welcome.
