WRS Presents Year-end Gifts and Donations
The Women of Rodef Sholom presented two gifts to the Congregation of Rodef Sholom:
$5,000 for youth camperships
$1,000 to the Religious School Seed campaign
WRS President, Angela Giacomini delivered these checks to the synagogue on behalf of the Women of Rodef Sholom.
WRS Tikkun Olam donations were also awarded on behalf of Women of Rodef Sholom
to the following organizations:
$600 to Jonathan’s Place
$600 to SF - Marin Food Bank
WRS Tikkun Olam December 2022 - May 2023
Tikkun Olam is a core value of the Women of Rodef Sholom &
charitable giving is budgeted for each fiscal year.
The WRS Tikkun Olam expenditure for December 2022 was $3,600.
These organizations were each granted charitable gifts of $600.00 by the Women of Rodef Sholom:
Planned Parenthood of Northern California,
National Council of Jewish Women-Jewish Fund for Abortion,
Jewish Family and Children’s Services.
The WRS Tikkun Olam expenditure for May 2023 was $1,400.
These organizations were each granted charitable gifts of $600.00 by the Women of Rodef Sholom:
WRS Gift to Congregation Rodef Sholom's Capital Campaign
The Women of Rodef Sholom presented an additional gift of $8,000 to Congregation Rodef Sholom's capital campaign for the new building. This donation brings the total amount of contributions from Women of Rodef Sholom to $18.000. Read more information about Rodef Sholom's sacred space.

WRS Gift to Rabbi Lara Regev
The Women of Rodef Sholom was honored to present a special tallit to Rabbi Lara Regev as a farewell gift and as an expression of our gratitude for her years of service to Congregation Rodef Sholom. It is our hope that when she wraps this tallit around her shoulders she feels the love from the Women of Rodef Sholom and our community and remembers that she retains a place in all of our hearts.
